Heart of the Palm

During my Maui vacation, my family and I stayed at a very nice air bnb. The patio had palm trees, comfortable chairs, jacuzzi, geckos, and the warmth of the sun to soak in. I hadn't been so close to palm trees before! I enjoy the lines of their leaves, how green they are, and the texture of the palm tree bark, which is so different from the mainland trees I'm used to. I also like to move in close to nature's characteristics, hence my up-close heart shaped palm leaf. I liked this palm leaf the best and made it a few different ways to accent the Hawaiian colors and give it a tropical feel in any room.
