Sailing Away on Wallowa Lake

There are many personalities when photographing Wallowa Lake. I’ve taken many shots of it and more don’t turn out than do. This was a special day as I saw two young men setting up their boat. Not knowing it was a sailboat and pleasantly surprised when I saw that it was. I thought if I stuck around, just maybe I could capture something a little extra in my Wallowa Lake photo. Testing their sail on a spring day with no one else to get in their way.  I took several shots as they glided across the surface of the water and this photo told their story of sailing away.
